Everyone has a line they say they won’t cross. Whether it’s conscience, upbringing, or just a general moral code, there’s always a limit to what people will do.
I’ve been really quiet and I apologise for that. One reason is my change in jobs: I don’t have that hour long bus journey twice a day to sleep/contemplate/observe the world around me.

Today’s Song of the Week is later than it should be, but seeing as I haven’t posted one for months, I figured you guys would let me off 😉
I’m working again!! I’ve been working for two weeks now and I’m bloody loving it! It’s honestly such a relief to be earning money again; to feel like I’m paying my way, and that I can provide properly for my daughter again.
What is that saying? Something about “the best laid plans of mice and men often go astray“? Or we could go with “the Devil laughs when we make plans“. Either way, it’s clear that plans are not always meant to come to fruition. So why am I beating myself up so much that mine haven’t?
There are so many different songs I thought about posting this week, but most just seem to encourage over-indulgent self-pity and I really can’t do that. Not for long, anyway.
My ipod played chose this song at random for me the night before last and it stayed in my head, the way all good songs do (and unfortunately some terrible songs too, which is SO ANNOYING!!).
I’ve been a bit of a James fan since 1989 when Sit Down was released. I was in the 2nd year of high school and I remember it being played at a school disco. Awesome tune!
